About Us We recognise that you may not have had previous experience of working with a therapist or be familiar with the type of work that therapists do. We understand this so we carry out an assessment session, of half an hour, where you can meet one of our team to discuss exactly what you wish to bring to therapy and ask any questions. The therapist will listen, ask some questions and outline the type of therapy which they consider to be best suited to you. In this way you will be guided to the right counsellor or therapist for you. You will then work out the frequency and duration of your counselling with your chosen therapist. We appreciate that clients will want to work with suitably qualified therapists who are trained, experienced, and enthusiastic. We ensure that for your protection all of our therapists are members of professional psychotherapy counselling organisations and strictly adhere to their code of ethics/code of conduct. They keep up to date with developments in their chosen field of work and provide the centre with evidence of their continuing professional development. All therapists practising at the centre have recognised qualifications. Each hold qualifications appropriate to the organisation they belong to and have many years of experience. Our therapists have a wide variety of highly recognised qualifications such as; Advanced Clinical Training in Transactional Analysis
